چکیده

Two molecularly identified tomato isolates, Trichoderma asperelloides Ta41 and Rhizoctonia solani Rs33, were characterized antagonistically evaluated. The dual culture technique showed that had a high antagonistic activity of 83.33%, while light microscope bioassay demonstrated the isolate over-parasitized pathogen completely. Under greenhouse conditions, application was able to promote plant growth significant increase in height, root length, shoot fresh, dry, dry weight. It also improved chlorophyll content total phenol significantly, both protective curative treatments. treatment assay exhibited lowest disease index (16.00%), 33.33%. At 20 days post-inoculation, increases relative expression levels four defense-related genes (PR-1, PR-2, PR-3, CHS) observed all Ta41-treated plants when compared with non-treated plants. Interestingly, treated alone highest expression, transcriptional CHS, PR-1, PR-2 were, control, 3.91-, 3.13-, 2.94-, 2.69-fold higher, respectively, 3.50-, 3.63-, 2.39-, 2.27-fold respectively. Consequently, ability growth, suppress Rs33 induce systemic resistance supports incorporation as potential bioagent for controlling rot increasing productivity crops, including tomatoes.

Unconventional alternatives for control of tomato root rot caused by Rhizoctonia solani under greenhouse conditions

This study was done to assess the antifungal effect of some biocontrol agents effective microorganisms (EMs1), Pseudomonas fluorescens, and Bacillus pumilus, titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles, black cumin and wheat germ oils as well as the recommended fungicide (flutolanil) against root rot of tomato. Moreover, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) examination was completed to identi...

Screening of bioagents against root rot of mung bean caused by Rhizoctonia solani.

A laboratory and green house experiment was carried out on the comparative antagonistic performance of four different bioagents (Aspergillus sp., Gliocladium virens, Trichoderma harzianum and T. viride) isolated from soil against Rhizoctonia solani. Under laboratory conditions, T. harzianum exhibited maximum (75.55%) mycelial growth inhibition of R. solani This was followed by T. viride, which ...

Stem Rot on Adzuki Bean (Vigna angularis) Caused by Rhizoctonia solani AG 4 HGI in China

During late August and early September 2011, stem rot symptoms were observed on adzuki bean plants (Vigna angularis) growing in fields located in Beijing and Hebei Province, China, respectively. In this study, four isolates were obtained from infected stems of adzuki bean plants. Based on their morphology, and sequence and polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-...
